About

The “My Favorite Teacher” Project was founded in September 2017 by a small group of undergraduate students from the Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University. They began with the goal of interviewing 5,000 people around the world in order to identify the qualities that make an exceptional teacher. After interviewing someone about their favorite teacher, the team sends a letter of appreciation to the “favorite teacher,” letting them know they made a difference in someone’s life. Through their continued efforts, the “My Favorite Teacher” team is impacting present and future educators through teacher appreciation and preparation.

Here is a little bit about our team!

Chloe Behar ~ Elementary Education

Chloe Behar is a Senior at Nova Southeastern University working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL/Reading Endorsement.

Chloe has lived in South Florida all her life. In high school, she was home-schooled and dual-enrolled at Broward College. Chloe enjoys tutoring and giving music lessons. Chloe also enjoys singing, and is the Music Director for The Riff Tides, Nova Southeastern University’s a capella group.

Hearing the qualities of an outstanding teacher straight from students helps me understand what it really means to make a positive, lasting impact on the next generation.
